Default Installing a greddy turbo

Ok so I finally found a setup that I can use in my 2000 si (B16a2)thats a/c compatable. Itsa Greddy manifold and 18g turbo with a crappy 2" Greddy downpipe (which will work for now). I have a few questions for anybody that has used or knows something about the installing of a Greddy setup. How doget to and tighten the bolts on the turbo-manifold studs? Do you pre-assemble the turbo and manifold outside of the car and then bolt up the manifold with the turbo attached? It seems impossible to get anything but my fingertips in there to tighten those bolts. Is it absolutely necessary to use slim fans when installing a Greddy kit or is it ok if the internal wastegate is very very lightly touching the outsideof the fan shroud housing? Any other tips you might want to give me on the install would be greatly appreciated. I will be working on this over the next couple of weeks. Im still waiting on my oil pan and oil lines to come in the mail. Thanks in advance.

that is what looks best is to assemble everything outside the car and then drop it into the car and onto the motor as one whole unit, at least thats what i did

Well the problem with that is the same problem I have with everything, my a/c. I dont think I can get any more than one thing at atime in there with the a/c in the way. Im sure someone else has had this problem before. Greddy is a very popular setup that people keep their a/c with. Tyler, where the heck have you been?!?!

i havent been on aim because i dont have my computer here. i will be back on aim tomorrow night man. are you turning the turbo so the exhaust side is facing the driver's side? it should fit right in without hitting the a/c at all.

Yeah I have it so the exhaust side is facing the drivers side. How hard would it be to remove the a/c until I have the turbo bolted up and then re-install it once Im finished?

id prolly assemble it and drop it in like a new header. Then run the lines and stuff once the turbo itself, manifold and downpipe are all in.
