Today I bought a turbonectics turbo kit for my D16Y8 and I have no idea how to install it....ran across a good deal so I thought id pick it up. If anyone has any Idea where to find instructions on how to install of step by step pics/directions please let me know how to get some; I bought the kit used with less than 2k on it soo its in good condition..but with no directions..if anyone has any ideas on how to or any places in IOWA= (BFE) please help me out, will be much appreciated

i know on ebay they have "how to" turbo kit books for civics and they are only like 2.99 so i would pick one of those up and go from there..

if you dont know how...you might want to pay someone to do it, especially if you've never done it b4.

How much did you pick it up for? And did it come with everything you need?

 

screwing up an FI install is a quick way to buying a new motor... seriously, pay someone to do it if you dont have the experience.

 

Yeah, I got it for about 800$ with less than 2k on it from a good friend(brother in law deal), its actually the DRAG Gen3 kit, supposedly 210 at the wheels at 8 psi, not to bad for 800$ kit is complete, except gauges and turbo timer

 

Shouldn't it be pretty stright forward? If you have the manifold then shouldn't everything just bolt right up? Maybe not.

Yea that should be pretty straight forward, remember to get new exhaust manifold gaskets since ur taking off the header...
