Default mitsu turbo?

do you guys think i should buy a TDO5H mitusbishi turbo for my 95 civic coupe? hes a local guy looking for $90 for it...should i jump on it and just get a manifold, intercooler/bov, and lines. would that give me some decent gains? or should i get a bigger turbo on a stock block.

ehh...im not faimliar with that turbo... i know about the t25 and t28...both are pretty quick spooling. i have found turbos on ebay for $100 shipped (stock silvia and skyline turbos) or more. i dont think thats a bad deal, but agian, i dont know much about that turbo.

good turbo, but I'd pick a t25 over it for a civic.

What motor do you have? Its probably either a 14b or 16g in which case $90 is a decent price depending on condition. I think both of those turbos are actually pretty good forjust about anycivic motor. It can be tough to find a manifold with the right flange for that turboso take that into consideration also.

hahah Nice sig Red2000si. Anchorman. I'd go with the T25. Quick spooling is always good,.
But I need to ask. What kind of power are you looking for? what engine do you have?

Look into a 14b. Damn near the same spool time as a t25, and won't crap out at high rpms. 14b also has bigger potential

if you have that spare engine right now there is no reason not to put forged rods and pistons in right now, and do the valvetrain...that way you can make close to 300 safely

very true, but being 17 and working only 20hrs a week for $7.25/hr moneys tight.
ill keep that in mind though cause i might leave the d15 non vtec in there for awhile longer and just beat the snot out of it lol.
