Default NEW to Honda with a turbo question

All I have ever owned is mustangs so excuse my Honda ignorance. What size turbo setup can I run with stock internals? Also, what brand do you reccomend? Thanks in advance for any information?

well you cant really say "this turbo will blow your engine, or that turbo wont" its a combination of things. the Airflow numbers, pressure, and tune are the biggest things. with out a good tune it wont run good and is very unsafe. to me, a good entry turbo is a Garret based turbo such as a t04E or somethign along those lines. they arnent hard to find and are relitavly cheap. but remember when you add aturbo to a n/a engine your going tomake it wear out faster, as with any engine that you start to make more power on. so there should be more research you do before you ask the question of "am i ready to make my car faster, and if im ready for the new found responsablities associated with it?"

greddy, garrett, turbonetics are all the good brands of turbos. greddy full kits isa really good kit for beginners. it all depends on the tune that you have. for stock internals it is usually good to stay at about 8 psi. read up around on the stickies in this section so you can learn more about the turbo set ups and about hondas. they are a lot more different than the mustangs.
