like someone said earlier........nitrous is like a hooker.......u hit it a few times and then u have to pay again...


If u are goin to upgrade your internals enough to handle a decent nitrous shot......just go the extra few yards and get forced induction

 

my internals are handling forced induction right now. but a boosted k24 isn't the most powerful engine out there as we all know. so it's always nice to have a little extra power in case you need it. so you can say bottles are for babies all you want, but when that nitrous kicks in, who's going to be looking at who's taillights?

 

Which says nothing about why its for "babies" or "cheap". If you shell out the money to fortify your engine, or know what your engine can handle, then by all means USE IT. My engine can run a 100 shot stock, and I plan to use that advantage. If I ever do get a snail, i am almost certainly going to use nitrous with it to help it spool faster. Mayby some people dont want forced induction? Mayby some people want to make their car the best sleeper it can possibly be? Its pretty stupid to say that something is for babies since you have to pay 10 bucks every 15 runs.

 

Why not go another extra yard and put a turbo with forced induction.

 

Some people dont like turbolag. Some dont like the noise of a turbo. Nitrous is easier to hide. Nitrous is cheaper. Nitrous is short strain on your engine vs constant strain. With nitrous you dont have to run high octane fuel 24/7. Nitrous kits are easy to install. Nitrous is a different kind of fun. Purge kits are fun. Want me to go on?

 

uh nitrous isnt easier to hide b/c u have four lines into each cylinder instead of two or a line into your air intake and u have no reason to hide a turbo, a decent nitrous kit isnt cheap, you dont need high octane feul to run a turbo, if u know what ur doing turbos are fairly easy to install, nitrous loses its fun after four or five shots on the highway, and turbo IS forced induction
