Why not go another extra yard and put a turbo with forced induction.

and i would like to take this time to apologize to ineedhp. im sorry for arguing yesterday over something that didnt matter. i was sick yesterday and extremly irritable. hope u understand
better than what u got w/ the women at the club last night
and think about it, im fourteen, a decent nitrous kit costs at least 1k, thats a lot of money fer meh
and where are u gunna hide the bottle? in the muffler?
and the fact still stands that you dont need to hide a turbo kit, so you dont even have to worry about that

If your gunna get an attitude at least get your facts straight.
And how much would a decent turbo kit cost you? ^weak arguement. The only thing that controlls the size of nitrous injection is the jets. That being said, everythign else is the same except mayby the solenoids, so it can be easily pieced and parted together. My friends 150 shot direct port computer controlled? 650$.
You should also do some research about hiding bottles. They can be hid under seats, in the spare tire well, behind the door panel, in the dash, in the engine bay, or on some cars you can have them behind headlights. I recently saw a corvette with 2 5lb bottles under each headlight, painted solid black. Totally undetectable. Nice try though bunny.
You dont NEED to hide anything. If you want to hide a turbo, TOO DAMN BAD. Im saying if you want to nitrous is your only option.
And in case you are wondering, in the big street racing / racing for money scene, most people dont like racing people with turbos because they dont understand the way they work and are scared of them. So yes, you WOULD want to hide a turbo sometimes.
Also props onto trying to degrade this to a "you cant get girls" flamewar.

Wait, who said you can't hide a turbo kit? You can mount it wherever you want if you get creative enough, and you can make it look like the intake just runs to a CAI instead of to the charge pipe. In the long run, you get more benefits/cost-effectiveness out of a quality turbo kit regardless of how you slice it. I'm not trying to flame either one of you here (I don't really want to get involved in this one.) And as for wanting to hide a turbo, if you're in the kind of racing scene where people don't know what turbos are or are afraid of them, you are: 1) Involved in illegal or extremely unskilled racing; and 2) Hanging out with the wrong people. Just so you know, this is one of the more pointless arguments I have seen on this site in a long time, but I'll let you finish each other off.
Im not trying to start a flamewar, Im just discussing it. If he wants to get an attitude and argue that nitrous is unhideable thats his problem.
You can hide a turbo kit, but from my experience its not very practical. I saw a kit for cars once that was at the end of the exhaust by the bumper. Imagine the lag on that. Not to mention the first time somone does a wheelstand its destroyed. Other than that it is a lot easier to hide nitrous than a turbo. Even if you do manage to make it look like some other part and fool everyone, you still have to contend with hiding the turbo whine and other noises.
Im talking about 9-11 second street drag in big cities where 1-10k is bet on a single race.

Um sorry but i must butt in and say thats WRONG.........have u ever heard someone say "Damn dude uve got a BOV on your car? That SUCKS!" [sm=jawdrop.gif]
hey woah kappa we're not arguing we're just discussing...and as far as im concerned, its all a matter of opinion on which is better, im just trying to explain why i think a turbo would be better than nitrous...and since i am technically a 'noob' im stating what i think from what i have learned and then asking questions, 's not my faut if he takes it like im being a snob

I dont have a problem with discussing. That sounds like an attitude to me though. Sorry if I took it the wrong way.
