I dont know if they do it to bring in customers (their primary source of income is mechanics and custom orders) but thats what the owner told me. I saw one of his mechanics filling a bottle and asked him how much they charge, and he said 8$ for a 10lb. Mayby the 8$ was with the discount. Tuning really isn't that popular in South Mississippi also so that might account for the low price. I wasnt aware it was that expensive everywhere else.

I bought a kit from Harris Speed Works out of PA... im gonna run a 75 shot with slight valvetrain mods and upgrades... it's a dry kit, but shipped i got it for 400 bucks...... the zex wet kit or the nitrous xpress kits are nice, i'm gonna go w/ the zex kit because its pretty much failsafe if you follow all fo the steps correctly and retard your timing

 

I've heard very mixed (leaning on the bad side) of review for Zex nitrous kits. Currently I'm eyeing a NOS Sportsman Fogger kit, 75-250hp adjustable, think it ran about 550.

dont you need to tune your car to run nitrous? Its not plug and play is it?

 

it is to a point, you have to retard the timing a little bit per shot

cheapest ive found a fill on 10 lb bottle is 40 bucks. im in ohio. also i was told by a nx dealer that new cars like ours have a program built in that will retard the timing if detination is detected.
