Default nitrous suggestion

I have been looking through the latest Honda Tuning mag. and the have got alot of articles on nitrous. I would like to put a basic kit on my car. 2002 EX sedan. 1.7 liter. What would be a good, reasonably affordable kit? Only mods at this time is K & N CAI and straight through 2 1/4" exhaust. Thanks for the info.

DOnt forget you have to run a wet (N2O and fuel) not just a dry (N2O only) kit

A dry shot is fine in moderation. If you keep it down around a 50 shot dry a factory honda fuel system is strong enough to hold that.

I would suggest a 35 to 50 shot dry from NOS or a 60 to 70 shot wet kit from NX.Zex is an ok system but the NOS and NX jets are far better and only around $50 to $100 difference in price

yeah, if its on a 7th gen, youd better invest in a bigger fuel pump if youre going to go dry.

Use a wet kit, NOT dry. I have no respect for anyone who uses a dry shot.
Upgrade your fuel delivery (I/e electronic fuel pump). This is very important.
Make sure its computer WOT RPM activated.
Do not use zex or their products.
In fact, kits are a ripoff. Piecing together a nitrous system is much cheaper than buying a kit.

Also when using, I would reccomend retarding your timing 1-2 degree for every 50hp to the wheels added by nitrous.

Go ahead and "have no respect" for those who use dry kits cause I know of atleast 1 guy going 13.09 in the 1320 with a zex dry kit and bolt ons with a eg hatch and he has been doing so for quite a awhile with no problems
