Default Nooby eBay charge piping Q?s

Alright, looking into turbos right now. Car in question: 89 EF w/ d16
I have seen kits everywhere, ebay has a nice selection. Not sure of quality.
I was wondering if it is worthwhile to get a kit, even just for the charge piping?
What I worry about is if the silicon couplers would burst. I know the specific clamps to look for, which I would purchase locally if the kit came with low-grade ones. Only going to be DD the car, just want something zippy that won't burst.

tl;dr Is EBAY charge piping worth it for a simple set-up for a DD?

Yes. A pipe is a pipe. You'll be fine with that.

Just as long as the have a rolled lip or has a little wider spot before the edge (like this set http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CXRac...Q5fAccessories) it will be fine. If it doesn't have that lip don't get it, easy boost leak right there.

Or you can roll the bead yourself.
