Default oil return line backup

On my turbo set up my oil drain is a 3/8 hose to 2 barbed fittings one on the pan one on the turbo. The hose is clear and after i cut the car off the line has oil in it for like 30 sec then it goes half empty and I can't get the rest to drain into the pan.Is this normal and should I upgrade to a 5/8 hose and bigger barb fittings to solve this problem. Will this hurt my turbo?

No turbo timer. My tuner has me set on little to no boost till I get my 255lph pump and my 460cc injectors. As soon as my parts come in we are going to street tune.Which he said we will be alright to we get some dyno time probley some time around my b-day in nov.
