I have an EG1 with swapped b16.I have gude head package with cams and throttle body,525 cc inj.,JRSC with 10 lbs pulleys(From JR),hondata s300,arp studs,cometic gasket.All on top of stock block.
Now with all this stuff on and running the problem I run into is this.Throttle cable that I had on it (1.5 ltr) was too short.So I get throttle cable from dealer for an EG1 with b16 and now the cable is too long.Aprox. 3-4 inches too long.What have I done wrong or what am i missing.Thanks in advance,

have you tried like a integra b18b throttle cable? might be just about right

 

What is the difference between b18b and b16 t cable?I thought they was same length.I could be wrong.I'll look into that.I just don't want to spend another 20 bucks on another cable that could be wrong.I've spent enough.

 

im getting a b16 swapped into my 5th gen, and the shop thats doing the swap ordered a b18 throttle cable, so riceburner could be right about it, i dunno

 

Ok,I see what you guys are talking about.But,I've done the swap first.Drove it for about 1 month and then put all my mods on.Since i've put my mods on I've had trouble with t cable.mods=super charger.The cable i had on stock swap was too short,but i machined an extention so that I could use it.Since I placed super charger on I could not use the extention no longer,so I got the right cable for my aplication and to no avail it still doesn't work.According to what I ahve found out online.B18b cable is same part number as b16 cable.This info could be wrong.If any one knows please let me know.

 

Ok I have took a tape measure and measured the diff between a b18 and b16 and d16 and d15.Both d's measure 3'3"and both b's measure 3'6".I must have something worng or I'm missing a piece from my used SC.
Wonder if the "S" shaped extention from plentum to throttle body is what is missing.Or is that only for EF's or EK's?Does any one here have any pics of their super charged EG that they could post or send.That might help.
