Default s/c 01 dx coupe. logical???

I got an awesome deal ona s/c but the only problem is i have a stock dx motor with 111k on it Im afraid it would just blow the engine.
is it logical to put this s/c on?
right now i onyl have a aem v2 intake with a 4.5 exhaust

go for it... maybe do a compression test first to make sure your engine can withstand boost?

how or where could I get one done? my car is automatic how much will that effect it?

compression test diy

and the automatic trans. won't make a difference (but I'd still look into transmission swaps)... you'll just have a fast auto

thanks. I had looked into some swaps but have not come across a decent price yet.... i think a s/c would satisfy my needs

Considering they don't make a supercharger for the D17 engine, I don't know how you found one for a good price.
