Default s300 boost control or avc-r?

im really really really really stuck on this, i dont want to blow the 800 for a hondata s300 ecu, but it has full throttle shift! and boost control so its screaming my name...

but the avc-r is half the price or more and only missing the full throttle shift (which is totally a downside to me)

question is, how good is hondata's boost controller setup vs an avc-r?

What's the full throttle shift feature? Is that similar to the avc-r option that allows you to control the boost level depending on which gear you are?

Anyways, I vote for the avc-r because it looks cooler Oh, take a look honda tech classifield because I bought an used avc-r two weeks ago for $180

Full throttle shift isa rev limiter that lets you shift gears without lettingoff thethrottle.

Honestly, both are fine choices but I would go with the hondata.

the hondata s300 i think is one of the best piggybacks you can get.... if you use a ecu out of a auto trans you dont need to add anything to the board..... it hooks up to the tourque converter lockup output... otherwise you need a 220 ohm resistor, a 330 ohm.a diode and 2 transistors ....then a GM boost selinoid and your good to go... i put mine in myself and it wasn't that bad.....
it's hitting the dyno on the 13th i'll let you know how easy it is to tune

Hondata isn't a piggyback.

^ Technically it is. A very advanced one though. I prefer to call it an EMS.

Go with the Hondata. You have full throttle shift regardless of which one you pick, Hondata is much much more than just a boost controller.
