Spray?
yeah those are pricey, but you won't regret doing it, actually it could make the car produce more power if you combine those the right way. If you don't plan on turboing look into higher comp pistons, but if you do you will definately need to get an SAFC or better.
oh while we're at it, i have a stock 2000 civic ex, and i was wondering if i build my internal engine with what was mention above would i be able to turbo my car?? I was thinking about doing a swap with a b18c but the fund isn't there right now, so should i turbo my stock engine or wait till i save enough to do a swap??

In the long, long run yes, but you'd still have to upgrade internals if you wanted to run over 7psi.

if you get a good tune you can go off stock internals for up to like 15 psi, but wouldnt recommend it either

it just depends on what kind of tune you get

im a big nitrous fan and have been using it for the last 7 years. although building your engine with quality forged parts will help to maintain a healthy lasting engine it is not necessary. ive ran from as little as a 50 shot all the way up to a 125 whot on stock sohc's without a problem. nitrous is a beautiful think if tuned right. although a dyno will get you done up right i prefer to tune by plugs, fuel pressure and ign timing. learning to read your spark plugs is a must if you intend on tuning nitrous for yourself. the only thing i upgrade is the fuel pump and spark plugs. the only reason nitrous has a bad name as a power adder is by people who have no idea how to use it properly and tune it. although there are instances where a knowlagable person will have a problem. as with any power adder there is consequences.
as far as the turbo conversation where some say this and some say that, really its all in the tune. there is a guy at our local track making 270 ish whp on a bone stock z6, but he has spent countless hours on the dyno. and dont base anything on psi, since psi is irrelivant if you dont look at the airflow. a basic t25 at 8 lbs will put out no where the same amount of air flow at the same psi as your basic t3/t4. although i am a nitrous fanatic, long term cost, turbo gets my vote.
one more thing i would like to share. depending on where you live and your climate you live in you may want to base your choice on that. nitrous does better than turbo in hot humid weather since it cools the intake charge down substantially. turbo on the other hand does well in not so humid weather.
