starting to piece turbo project together, need help
Ok so the kit i was going to buy was discontinued, so I'm deciding to man up and piece together my own kit.
my first question, what is the best turbo for my car? I have a b18b1 integra ls engine. I was thinking of probably going with a turbonetics.
Could someone look at this website and tell me what would be best? I'd appreciate it so much.
This is the list of turbonetics hybrid turbochargers

not to sound like a *****, but it seems to me like you dont know much about forced induction. That question alone shows me you need to do A TON more research. what are you goals? daily driver? how much lag do you want? there are a ton more questions...do your research before you blow up
7 psi on what size turbo? dude, srsly, go research. Buy Maximum Boost by Corky Bell, its an awesome book and you will know better what to look for and stuff. Cuz ive noticed youre askin a lot of questions, which is good, but youre questions are ones that people just beginning to research should ask
cant go wrong with a t3/t4 turbo, go with garrett, $575 for their t3/t04e journal bearings and you will most def get 75whp out of it at 7psi with a free flowing exhaust and 2.5"intercooler piping. oh, and a good tune..
but im also a garrett nut [&:]

thank you didder...
here is my first potential set up that I have pieced together, let me know what you think,
I can get the following for about $2200..
-turbonetics t3/t4 turbocharger w/ball bearing upgrade
-Turbonetics evolution wastegate
-HKS blow off valve
-Treadstone cast manifold
-Treadstone downpipe kit
-Treadstone 2.5" intercooler piping
-oil line kit
-all hardware, gaskets, silicone, etc.
-k&n air filter
then not included in the $2,200 I would get
-walbro fuel pump
-hondata s300
-arp headstuds
-act clutch
-new head gasket
-new timing belt
-adj. cam gears
-new cams
-cooler radiator
-cooler spark plugs
-boost gauge
-air/fuel gauge
-turbo timer
-fuel regulator
-bigger injectors
and that should about do it, anything missing?

The tune and youll need a conversion harness. If youre gonna be runnin different cams, it might be wise to change out the rods and psitons and at the very least get the rods shot peened. Id change the piston rings as well if you dont change the completely. You dont need a new timing belt depending on when yours was change. Did you do a compression test as well?
my buddy has a dyno shop and hes not gona charge me for the tune since im paying him to help me install it. I need an obd2-obd1 conversion harness right?
and what you are saying is that if i change the cams then i should change all that other stuff, or if i dont change the cams then i shouldnt need to change the other stuff?
