Someone correct me if Im wrong here........but a stroker kit will increase compression. This dude is building up a huge wishlist and going click crazy...........A full race kit with low compression pistons and forged rods will be capable of insane power.......more than the average driver would be able to deal with.

ya i see were your go-n. Going click crazy

so forget the stroker kit realy now that i think about it i don't feel like putting a stroker kit on it unless i just build a N/A engine. i want to get a turbo but gas is so **** high.

I think you will save gas with a turbo. If you build the engine for low compression, you can turn the boost down. Then you will really not need that much fuel. You could get a adjustable FPR and have it tuned for low FP so you get good gas milage. Then when you wanna race or something, put the FP up, turn the boost up and change the fuel maps/ignition timing. Thats gonna take some fancy computer stuff though.

i know crower makes a stroker kit for b-series motors with 9.5.1 compression or something like that and it makes it like a 2.0L or a 2.2L

ya i know that crower makes one. what about boring my engine, sleeving it, putting oversized pistons in it with forged rods? will having a turbo?

as long as its resleeved and forged internals it will be able to withstand just as much as it would of it you didnt stroke it

if you're going to bore it, stroke it too. you want a good square bore:stroke ratio.

stroking doesnt nessecarily mean higher compression ratios. if you're using the same pistons it does because you're getting more air into the engine but compressing it to the same volume, thus higher CRs, but if you get a Crower stroker kit they over dome, flat top, and low compression. they specify the compression on the pistons.

I think you over-complicate things to tell the truth. Take your stock B16 and put some forged rods and forged 8.5 to 1 pistons in it and boost it. You will be amazed if all is done correctly and tuned right.
