Did you check out anyplace at all? There's tons of places on the net that sell a S/C for Civics.

Here's a link that came up immediately from a search (although I'm not saying you should buy from here):
http://www.superchargersonline.com/p...=superchargers

Make yourself happy and do some research and searching yourself. That way, you should be happy with who you decide to purchase it from.

What motor is in the 01 that they have a SC for the every other model and not the 01? Is that the D17? I couldn't find one either.

A SC is NOT less Hp than a turbo, SC are just usually running less boost than a turbo. Comparably boosted cars would be very close in every aspect of performance if properly tuned, unless you are talking about AuotX. SC would pwn a turbo.

There are dangers with a SC, but just less than a turbo. Heat and detonation are still concerns but you dont' have to worry about boost spikes and and the ridiculous speeds of the turbine, let alone sharing your car's oil with a big fat red-hot glowing oil cooker called a turbo. SC are set it and forget it. If your car is setup for 8psi, 8psi is what you get.

I have said it before and I will say it again... how many turbo kits (other than OEM LEVIII) will give you a 100,000 mile warranty like I have on my SC?

doing anything to get more power out of your engine is gunna wear it down faster. granted a supercharger doesnt have the risk of blowing itself up like a turbo does during shifts, theres a greater risk of detonation because it heats up so fast and closer to the engine block. turbos also have more power potential than superchargers because turbos run off of wasted engergy from the engine, whereas superchargers feed off of the engine itself. turbos will have more power up top, but because a supercharger doesnt have to spool it will pwn a turbo in autoX and solo I because most of the time you're in the low RPMs. they really both have the same wear on your engine but depending on your application, one will be better than the other. it all just depends on what you wanna do with your car

it has 51k miles on it... i want the car to last but i want to kick some *** in the process. (im verry competitive) so i think a sc would be the best rout for me. but i can seem to find one.

DJ I really dont think there is a SC setup out there for the D17. As far as I know there's only 1 turbo kit for the D17. As long as you upgrade your bottom end engine components and get a professional tune, there should be no problem with turboing that baby. Thats my plan anyway, I'm gonna upgrade the valvetrain, pistons, rods, rings, crankshaft the slap a Garrett T28 BB turbo on it and get a professional tune. and I have a 02ex with less than 30k on it. Granted I have a vehicle to fall back on if the turbo should blow but I feel with the engine "bulletproofed" and a good tune there won't be serious problems.

even without the tune and bulletproofing...it wont be that hard on your engine (if you dont go past 8psi). hondas are known for their reliablity and 50k is nothing
