Default T3 or T25?

Im just curious...how much better does a T3 .42/.48 flow than a .49/.48 T25? I know the T3's are good for more power and actually hold power until redline. Im just wondering how much of a difference there is in these 2. And is a T3 with a .60 A/R compressor housing with a .48 turbine housing and a 45 trim wheel to big for stock internals other than cam/valve springs, if you were just looking to make around 200whp? Right now I have a weird TB25 (T25) and I can't find an oil kit for it anywhere and I know that my power is going to start falling off at around 6k...I want something that's going to give me power til redline and that I can use to boost more psi on later when I rebuild the motor with better internals. I don't know...what's the differences in the T25 and the T3's that I mentioned above? Thanks

The only difference really is the amount of air that they can push into the motor, if you want some late spool get a t3 if you want some fast spool then go with a t25

They are different turbos

It will confuse ya I know. There are 2 different types of T25's.....you have a Mitsu T25 that came on the second gen gst and gsx eclipse and you have the nissan t25 that came on the sr20 powered cars. If you want more peak power go with the t3, if you want a more natural powerband go with a t25.

I think if you want to build your internals and up the boost later you should get a t3. The bigger one will spool a little slower, but your high end power will be awesome, especially with high boost later after you build.

Actually, SR motors use T28s if I'm not mistaken.

EDIT: Sorry. I was kind of mistaken. Some use T-25s, and some use T-28s.

Is the number the size of the turbo/impeller?

I suppose that's a pretty primitive way of thinking of it. It holds true a lot of the time (in a relative sort of way), except for things like T3s, T4s, etc. But yes, a T70 is bigger than a T28.
