put a tdo5h turbo on a 99-00 civic si what u guy think?

 

that turbo is gonna spool really early on your car just to let you know

 

im not sure is that a good thing or a bad thing?.......im new to this turbo thing

 

its good in the turbo lag sense...but it probably doesnt make much power if it spools as early as im thinking it will. you'll wanna go with a T25 or T28.

 

fast spool makes for a fun peppy almost lag free car. i personally like small turbos because you can have more fun running through curvy roads than a larger turbo. its really up to you though, all depends on what power levels you want to reach and your driving style.

 

what u think if i get 2 tdo5h and customize a twin turbo on a civic hmmm good ideal?................

 

Stupid idea, also a t25 will spool early. The td05 and the T25 will not be good for a b16, allthough spooling up early is all fun and good neither one of those turbo's will make power all the way up to the 8400rpm rev limiter set for the B16. I would aim for a gt28 or a t3 super 60. Both will spool in a reasonable time and still make power in the upper rpm ranges.

 

not bad idea.....get me a gt28r turbo..but what u think about my stock SI block?........should i upgrade to a b20 LS block?

 

you can make a lot of power on that stock block
