did you buy them just to say you have one or did you buy one because you race?

 

i was going to buy one so i could beat those who do not have a turbo!

 

I bought one to make my car go faster. If I wanted to say I had one....well I would just say that.

 

I knew from the start I wanted to make my car faster. However, I figured out the math and saw how quickly the average bolt ons end up adding up. I got my complete turbo kit for LESS than a full set of bolt ons would have cost me, and im making much more power. I wanted to go turbo because its the best power adder for the money (nitrous is good, but not as efficient).........

Honestly, people who boost their hondas dont say their honda "Smoked" anything. Ricers dont have turbos, ricers are kids who cant afford/understand how turbos work. I "raced" a V6 mustang from a redlight until like 85 mph and i "smoked" him. We caught the next light and complimented eachother, and he said thats the first turbo civic hed seen, and gave me "props". People are quick to talk about turbos......sayin how "Yea im gunna turbo my civic"...........then push NEVER comes to shove. Honestly this is one of the reasons im getting rid of my EG and getting an 06 SI and not really tinkering with it........I cant drive my civic without feeling like a 16 year old kid..........[sm=rant.gif]

Lol, its not you........just the ricers here that make me not wanna drive an EG........all these kids drive DX hatches with mufflers and drive like asshats.......and I get labeled the same......even thou my car is clean as all hell. Im just tired of it. Besides, ive got a heavy foot, and that thing DRINKS 93 octane lol.

my car was rice when i first got it.... it had a big shark type wing, it had eyelids, and all the interior IS STILL painted sparkly red and silver..... the first thing i did was take off the wing, then i replaced the headlights a couple of days ago. I wanna replace the interior trim, put a full cat exhaust, change the rims, lower it and finally put my navi in.... im trying to take it away from rice, i hope im doing a good job.... eventually i would like to put a turbo kit in it, but it's gonna take a long while...
