^ this does get gone over ALOT.....go back to the Nitrous/SC/Turbo section scroll up to the top. See all those topics up there? (Nitrous FAQ, What You Need To Know, etc.) Read all of those! Twice!

if you go with a Jackson Racing Supercharger it will replace the intake manifold. VTEC still works with both and it is a nice feel... superchargers for civics wont net you the most horsepower, but it is close to zero maintenance, install is pretty simple and reliability is far better than a turbo since you arent running oil lines to it and dealing with a wastegate. Turbos will get you the most power since its very easy to adjust boost levels and get what you want, but some people dont know the limits of the motor and you get a blown one here and there.

If you plan to make this thing a monster... go with a turbo kit. If you are looking for something to make it quick with little maintenance and reliability then go with a JR supercharger.

yeah, with the right mods and a tune 200hp will be no problem. S/C are all about air flow... focus on modifications like an intake, header, exhaust, first. If the aftermarket throttlebodies are compatible with the JR supercharger then its a good investment also. See where you are at and if you are looking for more power then get a smaller pulley for more boost and get a fuel tune.

If you're going with a supercharger, it replaces your intake. Bolts right up to the head.
