Are you doing the work yourself? You could save a good amount of money if you took the motor out and dissassembeled the motor. Then you could send the block the a tuner shop to have the pistons, rods, crank?, and sleeves installed. Then put the motor back together and you saved a good amount in labor. That is what i plan to do when i get the money to buy a GSR motor.

you should be fine with stock sleeves on 400hp. you should just shoot for rods and pistons if you dont plan on going over that.

for rods look into cunningham, crower, JUN, and carrillo

pistons you should look for crower and JUN.

for head work, get a b16 head and get a CTR intake cam and an ITR exhaust cam.

Cunningham titanium are like $300 per rod, those things are crazy expensive. You could get a set of 4 forged rods for $400 i believe.

carrillos are 4340 billet steel, as strong as cunningham titanium rods, dont have the sticking tendancy of titanium, and cost about 600 for a set.

ps i wasnt nessecarily talking about cunninghams Ti rods.

How hard is it to pull the b18 motor apart... ive done my vr 4 motor and told myself if we could do that we could do anything... it looks very very easy but anyone have any input that has actually done it... anyone know where i can get the torque messurments from or a nice shop manual for the b18 motor....

to give you an idea it takes less than half an hour to pull the head on a B. ive never actually pulled a B, but i pulled my friends integra head so he could replace the gasket.

I3unny, the CTR intake/ITR exhaust cams are only good for an NA build. The valve overlap will kill your boost.
