VX motor is D15Z1, it shares the same bottom end as the JDM D15B. But the fact that good power can be made from any of them is true. Just change to a Z6 head.
The JDM version already has a Z6 head, and a stouter bottom end than the USDM variants (except the Z1).

It all depends on the version of the D15B, (i am pulling this part out of my ***, if it is wrong someone please correct me)the D15B8 has 72 bhp, the D15B2(vx motor) has 92hp, the D15B7 has 102hp. but with boost on any of them you can still make a decent amount of power

Not true at all.

The crank and rods are different between the VX and JDM D15B. The VX shares the same crank as the other USDM D15s, while the JDM D15B has a larger crankshaft rod journal diameter and therefore larger large end rod bores. The JDM D15B uses the same size rod and crankshaft rod journal diameter as D16s, but is shorter stroked. (A destroked D16.) The VX, however, is completely unique. While it's rod is the same length as D16/JDM D15B rods (137mm), it's designed for USDM D15 cranks only.
If there are any other differences post em up Marty.
