Default Turbo and nitrous in D16?

I have a fairly stock D16 in my civic. Ractive cold air intake, Ractive headers, and NOS nitrous system (50 shot). I have a racing clutch too... but would adding a turbo be too much for the engine, or would it be ok? If I don't have to, I'd rather not do a swap, but...

On stock internals you pretty much can only have one or the other. If your engine is strong enough you might be able to up the 50 shot to a 65 or 75 shot. Do a compression test and if it turns out good then you will probably be ok.

What would I have to do to the internals? Better cams/pulleys/pistons?

Pistons and rods. Depending on your goals you might have to upgrade more.

i think i heard rods at the weak points of y7s. Vitara rods and Eagle pistons are common choices for D series builds.

eagle rods and vitara pistions lol. basically look at spending no less than like 2k on builidng your engine to handle boost and spray, plus the 2k minimum on your turbo setup.

that would be some insane torque though, would be fun

You can have boost and nitrous, but its stupid. Most people will just use the intercooler bracket for the nitrous. This sprays the nitrous on the intercooler core, cooling the air to make better for boost. I always thought nitrous AND boost are a stupid combo, because you can always just up the boost for free, whereas you gotta pay for the nitrous.

I'm thinking about doing a supercharger instead of turbo so I have the low end torque, then the nitrous for the higher rpms.
