Default Turbo Time!

Ok boys and girls its time to put that Apexi snail to use, finally! I just want to make sure on a few things, and what I will need. Heres the list, am I missing out on anything?

Air/fuel and boost guage
missing link
spark plugs 2 gaps colder
4 quarts of Royal Purple.

Anything else or any advice on what to watch out for once installing? Pete, where ya at? If everything works out, I will be blown within the next 2-3 weeks. Cant wait!

Sorry, I was in Cali all week. You need NGK Spark plugs......go 1 or 2 levels colder if you can. I use more than 4 qts of oil as the oil feed/return lines are going to have a little oil in em, as well as the turbo itself. You have all the oil lines and fittings? If not check out www.tunertoys.com

Blown means supercharged....just so you know

...What all do you have for turbo components? And when are you doing it? I'd be interested in coming to check out the install if that'd be alright with you.

I wouldn't get one there is NO point unless you're going to get a wideband IMO.

I believe I have all the fittings and hardware neccessary. Everything came with the kit, used of course. The turbo and the manifold assembly is all put together, so it just needs to be bolted up to the block. Every thing's pretty much a bolt on. Im installing the turbo at my mechanics place, he's got the tools and a lift, it'll make things much easier. All I need to order now is an air/fuel guage, and a boost guage with a pod, and a missing link. Im hoping some time within the next two weeks I'll be boosted. Where you at Forty04, Grandrapids? You can come down and give a hand, or atleast cruise around afterwards. Go for some pizza or somethin. If you want to that is.

Autometer guages. I was looking in to the cobalt series, but then when I saw the price tag for the boost, which was like $164 or so, hell no. Just regular white face will do.

I know theres not a whole lot of reason in getting the narrow band, but Im on a budget. Just need a rought idea of where Im at.
