Default Turboing my D15, need advice!

right now ive got just the 1.5 16v sohc nonv-tec in my car, and i wanna build a turbo kit for it. wondering if i need a new exhaust manifold, and if i need to get stronger piston rings, or if i can just build the kit w/ the stock motor. im only planning to run b/t 5-10 psi.

you need to get a turbo manifold for a turbo. you will not need to build your internals if you are only going to run 5-10 psi. try and use the search function on the site because this topic has been discussed.

5-10 will be fine. Just build the bottom end properly and conservatively tune. 10-15 is managable depending on your components choices and skill.

true what everybody else said BUT, not trying to be a dick, but if your asking if "you should get a new exhaust manifold" i might do a little more reading about boosting your ride, there is a lot to be learned.

if you have money to spend i would suggest you buy a kit from greddy or edelbrock. they are a bit more expensive, but they come with everything you need. you can save money by piecing a kit together but you need to do a lot of reasearch to figure out what size of turbo, etc etc etc, and you really need a good tune regardless of what you do.
