Default universal bov's

I really want to use the hks super sequential bov, I heard it sounds cool. Every review and description I have read and seen says it universal. I also saw some things on these flanges you're suppose to weld. Do you have to weld on a flange to use a universal bov? Should I just stick with the greddy type s or something?

im pretty sure ur going to need the correct flange. U dont want any boost leaks. Im guessing a "Univeral BOV" will work with any turbo application because it will come with the correct flange.

Yes, you have to weld on a flange for ANY universal BOV because it's not made to bolt straight onto the car - that's why it's called "universal". The Greddy is the same type, you need to call tne manufacturer and see what you need for these parts.

In all reality, I would suggest you just stay away from buying ANYTHING until you understand how turbo's work. I'll try and cook up a "Boosting for Dummies" book for you.

Actually, there are people like that.....or pretty damn close. They're called "professionals" or "experts".
