my car runs at about 15inhg on my guage when im cruising down the road 70mph in cruise... is that normal? i sure hope it is

on the site i bought the gauges from it said ideal is 22inhg, but it wasnt car specific so idk..

Vac will differ by the setup and weather conditions... normal is around 20ish. Mine runs as 25hg at idle and 20hgduring easy driving.

 

In short geared honda trannys you are probably reving pretty high on the highway so 15 is pretty normal depending on how fast your going andin what gear, it can be difficult to keep load off and stay much higher than 15.

 

yea i saw this weekend on way home about 12-13 was what i was running at 75-80

 

depends on altitude as well
