Default Voltage Clamp or missing link....

Okie dokie.....got my Edelbrock turbo kit in on Friday....spent, like, 2 hours inventorying and playing around with everything. Should be going on Thursday or Friday. Very excited. My only concern is the little piece of paper that came with the kit. Says something like, "96-98 Honda Civics need PN 15022 - Voltage Clamp". My understanding is that this keeps the MAP sensor from seeing boost, or something like that. I've looked for this part, and found it, but the places that sell it all say *SPECIAL ORDER*. Which says to me, "At least two weeks for your part." All of the forums I've researched say that a stock Civic MAP is good to either 10 or 12 psi. The kit's wastegated at 7 psi. Is this part necessary, or can I use a "missing link"? BTW, I have a general idea of what a missing link does, but not how to set one up, so if anyone could explain that, I'd appreciate it. Thx!

The reason why you need to hide boost is beacuse as soon as the engine sees boost you'll get a CEL. These ECU's were not designed for turbo apps. That is why you hide boost even though the MAP is capable of seeing it. Now if you run proper fuel management you won't need that.
