Default VRRRRRMM.....PSSST!

OK check it out. I want that greddy turbo kit. BAD!. I can get a local shop to install it for 500$..but is it worth it. Is it really hard to install that greddy bolt on kit? Ive got some mechanical knowledge, ive done cold air intakes, cat back exhausts, and i do all my own maintence work. Im jsut concerned about drillin thru the oil pan.......has anyone installed their own turbo. How long should it take or for 500$ should i just let the pros do it.

does it only cost $500 normally to install a super charger or turbo.. or is it a hell of alot more expensive? That sounds cheap from what you are saying.

errr...... depending on the turbo kit it can take anywhere from 5+ hours to install. drilling through the oil pan is no big deal. it took me roughly 6 hours to install my turbo kit but my car already didnt have the a/c system.

Only for the inexperienced (try 4 or 5 hours...) I personally love installing kits.

If you have to ask if its too hard then it's too hard for you, honestly. The install of that turbo will make or break your car. It's alot of work if you don't know what you are doing. $500 is pretty reasonable, the quote my my supercharger install was about $400 and that's a direct bolt-on, idiot proof set-up.

leave it to the pros IMO
