Want to build a motor for turbo... Swap??
I am in the process of building a turbo for my stock d16z6. I am wondering, as I begin to think bigger, what motor should I build for my 95 sedan. A few opinions and advice would be much appreciated.

Whats your budget? If its crazy big get a K20......thats a BIG budget thou. B18C is a popular choice as well. Sleeve and build it......add a GT35 and youve got anall outracecar.

My main concern is hurting my motor.AndIwould likeanother ready that will stand up to the extra hp with a turbo, and be able to start turning the turbo up on my built motor.
I guess my goals are 250-300 hp. Maybe something like 12-15lbs. I gotta keep the sedan though. I know it's heavier but I like the extra room. Small budget too... I guess another z6 sounds like the way to go. How much more is sleeving???

RE: Want to build a motor for turbo... Swap??
I guess as far as motors I was wondering if there was something way better that would be an easy swap for a z6 but if my motor is a good base that's cool too. As far as budget I am considering doing the motor over the winter or over6-12 months so 1000-1500 maybe more. I guess as far as goals I would like to squeeze as much out of my motor as possible without having to stand in a bread line. If I build a motor what are my other options?? Bigger turbo? More psi?? I guess I still need to learn more just to ask the right questions. Thanks again for the help.
