Default Well I had a scare this morning

I was heading to work and the car finally warmed up. I was going on an incline to a bridge. So drop a gear and mash the gas. As soon as a smile on my face appeared and 15psi hit.... POP! Boost went by-by.

I freaked out and checked all my guages twice. I picked up my commander (the remote to my standalone setup) and checked all the vital components. I thought my turbo blew up and 18g's arent cheap to replace when new. I relaxed a little when I realised all the vitals were fine, the motor ran fine and no oil or smoke and all was fine.

I got to work, pooped the hood and found the air exit off the turbo simply blew off the charge pipe. Not a big deal at all. $2 at the hardware store and 5 minutes and its done.

WHEW!!!!!!

I get blown couplers all the time...my originals were rubber, not silicone, so I gotta keep being creating and have a roll of duct tape on hand:-D

CAn't until I change my charge piping completely, some of these couplers are shaped and regular silicone ones I can't use...so I limited boost to 10psi for now.

Well, I went under the car and fixed it. I found that almost all of the underside brackets were loose. A few were even finger tight. I tightened the chit out of them. I then fired up the car and made boost. The black thunder is back on the road muhahaha.
