whats a safe shot?
make sure your fuel pump is up to the task.......get yourself a set of ngk bkr7e's.......pull at least 2 deg of timing assuming you will be running pump gas. a 75 shot if tuned right can go for many thousands of miles.
light deffinatly.........timing will vary even with the slightest strech in the timing belt. a timing light is a very good investment. and not some cheap one..........make sure to buy one with the advance function.
Ok so advance it 2 deg and its better to run super gas right? sorry dont know anything about spray.im learning as i go but the kit is zex dry shot with the smart box ..anyone know anything about this kit? also it ran a 9.78 in the 1/8 with 17"s any ideals where it will put me ?(now on gsr fat fives)
eh i say its a personal preferance based on your nitrous tuning abilities as far as dry or wet is concerned. ive personally ran a 125 shot on my b16 with a zex dry kit. but i also had the neccesary upgrade, fuel pump, 310cc inj, fuel pressure guage, fuel pressure regulator. but either way zex is the way to go for a new person to nitrous. fuel/nitrous mixture isnt controlled my bottle pressure, makes it so much simpler to use. and you can run the bottle completly dry
