Ok you see people using tubular manifolds, most of them sit the turbo/piping in the way of the a/c and ps pumps. Now like your traditional "log" manifold most of the time makes it so you can retain them.
there are no "odds", if you choose a manifold that is a/c compliant then you will get to keep your a/c, if you dont choose one that is a/c compliant you will loose your a/c.
