is it worth it to get turbo or engine swap first
i have not moded my 97 civic yet, but im wondering whether or not to put a turbo in, or if it isnt worth it until i do an engine swap. also is there anything i require to accompany the turbo
It still depends what you want in the end. You can buy and build a D series for around the price on a B18C swap. The B18B is a good route, very turbo freindly engine and good up to the 300whp area in stock trim on a good tune. A 200 to 250whp 92-00 civic is alot faster than alot like to give credit for plus you have to decide on how far you are willing to go as far as how daily driver freindly it will be.
Well personally i think it would be more fun to daily drive a boosted car. You can build your current motor and boost it, get it tuned for like 225 daily driving horsepower and it will cost a lot less than a swap with installation.
actually id agree on the B18B. my current plan is to get one and send it off to spoon to get it sleeved and stroked and put a B16A head on it then turbo it. yeah...
