Can any1 tell me if this thing will really work. I cant believe tht u could build one urself and it wont kill the engine.[&:]

I would definitely stay away from the electric fan and the dryer hose.
That thing would cause you more trouble than anything else.

2psi of boost is really 2psi over ambiant. Ambiant air is typically around 14.7psi. So basically the air would be at 16.7psi instead of 14.7psi thus only boosting the air pressure about 8%. So as you can see, their claim of 5-20% increases in horsepower are going to be false, because there is no way that only an 8% increase in air pressure will yield those kind of horsepower gains.

Also, as with any moving part comes friction. With friction comes heat. The heat that is produced, even if it is very little, will be enough to lessen or possibly negate any horsepower that would otherwise be gained.
