Yeah thats what I was trying to see. I am checking it out tomorrow so we will see how it goes and I'll throw an offer at him. So no more then 3.5k huh? Whats if it was just a small theft? And not a rebuild or something

Theft is a red flag to me since someone might go after it again, wiring may be damaged, etc. It is completely up to you on the price though. If you feel it is worth the price, then go for it.

EDIT - Remember, a non clean title vehicle isn't worth anything to insurance. If you crash it with collision coverage, I doubt you will get anything from insurance.

Yeah didn't turn out to well. It was way to low on springs. Cam seals were leaking. It was blistering fast but what I found not to offend anyone but in the are I live in. these group of russians that get reconstructed cars and basically flip them trying to sell them for a fortune. Basically scamming people. If I bought this I woulda been ruined. it was a great shell but the engine was just beat on poor car

Meh, suspension is easy to work with. I would have saved up for legit coilovers regardless. The cam seal is a $20 with like 1 hour worth of work. lol

Good luck with the rest of your search!

Okay I checked out a 98 sedan with the itr front end. I know quite a bit about hondas but not much about ls vtec's he went over the list of parts put into the engine type r pistons, rods etc so its really well built at a shop and all. He showed me all the oil and everything it is super clean has about 60k on the motor. Pulls like a monster just needs different cams but I've been reading that the whole ls vtec thing isn't to reliable. The whole thing I'm buying a new car is my kid I need a nice 4 door but still have my nice tuner. I drive a lot for work and wouldn't be racing it but like I said I heard they arent reliable.

they're only not reliable when they aren't built right or when they're revved past the LS bottom end's stock redline

Thanks for every ones help and input. I actually finally found a 2001 gsr (db8) 100% stock I'll post up pics here later. its all there on gsr blades and 89K miles. I had to go up to Kent WA from Salem, OR which is about a 4hr drive but it was well worth it. I got it for 5800!!! And I'll still add you! There are a few Jonathan Wheelers out there lol
