sfazngiants 03-20-2010 12:09 PM

your pictures looks kind of grainy

burnindesirez02 03-20-2010 03:25 PM

Which ones? i know some of them are...

sfazngiants 03-20-2010 11:53 PM

mainly the helicopter. but did you edit your pictures, they look kind of dull, or is this really how they look like?

burnindesirez02 03-21-2010 07:44 AM

i didn't edit these...but i did crop them...but it is grainy...im not sure why though...

Forty04 03-23-2010 04:40 AM

You've got some good shots in here man, keep it up!

StifflersMom 03-23-2010 07:52 AM

Was the helicopter with the 75-300?

indeed, 190mm plus some cropping

and thanks Tony...im still trying to get better...dunno if using all Manual is helping me all that much though..i kinda wanna go into Aperature priority..

StifflersMom 03-23-2010 09:32 AM

What you're doing is setting the ISO too high I think and messing up on full manual. I got the best results running shutter priority with this.

burnindesirez02 03-23-2010 01:42 PM

ISO is at 100 all the time...but yea i think i am messing up on full manual..next time i will use Shutter or Aperature priority...

i like the second pic , what game was that? and man that snake looks happy

Forty04 05-20-2010 05:36 AM

Is that a pet snake, or are you seriously insane enough to get within photo-shooting distance of that crazy creature? :D

Great pics too. The hill in the bridge pic looks a bit washed out, did you turn the brightness up in PS?

burnindesirez02 05-20-2010 09:04 AM

That snake was actually at a zoo. but as far as the bridge picture, I must have been hazy. Nothing i do in PP does anything.

And as far as the game. It was Army vs. Bucknell for the Patriot League Semi Finals

NIKE H34D 05-20-2010 09:07 AM

These Photography threads are looking pretty good, wish I had a nice point and shoot :(

burnindesirez02 05-20-2010 06:51 PM

Point and shoot? you should just save up 400 dollars and invest in a DSLR

N0safebetdx 06-11-2010 09:57 AM

I loveeee the pictures of the horses & the sanke!!!

i'm always taking pics of my Pet Snake eating I think it's amazing how they can kill & eat something 10x bigger then their heads!!!

Anywho superduperawesummmmmm :)

^is she ur gurl friends? lol but great shots as always I wish I could take my moms camera up to the mackinac bridge its only 2 hrs away and would be completely worth it.

burnindesirez02 07-02-2010 07:45 PM

No, shes not my girl friend. She is actually my best friend. Thanks for the comment. The Mackinac, isn't that at the northern end of the Michigan Peninsula?

kanarrjl 07-02-2010 07:56 PM

My GF is my BF it works out great. The Mackinac Bridge connects the upper and lower parts of Michigan. It also connects Mackinac and St. Ignace where that car show I went to was. But yeah its like 5 miles long or something insane. It used to be the worlds largest till the Japanese had to show us up.

http://www.mackinacbridge.org/images/ht_images/map1.jpg

in this one you see Mackinac down low, St. Ignace up higher and I'm pretty sure Canada up even higher and to the right.

its noise, from high ISO settings he mentioned that some were noisy because of the ISO set at 1600... my d60 had that problem.. i am trying to sell that, as i have a d700 FX now, and boy you can set that ISO to 6400 with no problems at all! weeeeeeeee:D

burnindesirez02 09-08-2010 09:58 AM

Hah, yea. D700 FX is Nikon i assume right? I would love to invest in a 5D or 7D if i had the cash.

dude the tapanzee bridge is 5 miles long, and the beacon bridge is 3 miles long [over the hudson river]

and the chessapeake bay bridge/tunnel is 24 miles long... that bridge was never the longest in the US let alone world. just saying

burnindesirez02 09-08-2010 10:04 AM

He said Largest not Longest.
