What are you using for post edits?
I hope you don't mind, but I did a quick edit on one of your hockey shots. Just a few tweaks to get the WB corrected seemed to make a lot of difference.
I had to take about 25 shots at the Wings game before I found the right settings to save myself making that same edit on all my shots later, lol.

Tony, I don't mind the edit. I edited those before i started using CS5. I use CS5 all the time and love it. But all my good photos from the hockey game were during practice. The one at face off was the only game one i got and that was full zoom with my kit lens. Maybe this weekend ill go back through those and edit them with photoshop and see what i got.

You live in a very pretty part of the states, I live like all the way across the states from you. Parts of Seattle are similar to your pictures but I'm on the dry part of Washington. I think the NE part of the states is the only part I haven't been to. Great shots. keep it up.
