This is really the only one I've liked using the nifty 250 canon lens. Im still not super happy with it. It's not quite as user friendly to just pick up and as the 50mm is. Just gotta practice some more!

 

just got back from a state park. got stupid close to some gators. I think the closest I got was 3 feet to one. I've got some pics to put up. I need to edit them first.

 

Lol so I realized I never put up the Houston shots. I'll try to do that later.

So I went to a Capitals/LA Kings game yesterday. As some of you know I'm a Detroit fan, but it was a free ticket and I love hockey soooooooo I went! Here are some shots from yesterday. Taken with the Nifty 250.

So here are the pictures i took in Houston last summer. This isn't all of them but some of the ones I like better. The part was really cool because as the one sign seen below says, the alligators aren't confined by any fencing. Most of the gators shot below allowed me to be within 3' of them. The second to last one with it's mouth open was the smallest and most feisty. I did get to touch one but it wasn't very happy about it. It was a very cool place and apart from the TERRIBLE mosquito's (that actually follow you for hundreds of yards) I would like to go back. Some of these aren't the best shots but I like the subject. Okay, I'll shut up now!

 

This one's my favorite. Good shots all-around though.
