a while ago i posted a local story about a guy in a mustang that got into a race with another guy in a honda, and the mustang lost control and smashed into a tree, killing him and leaving behind a wife and kid. I found out a week or two ago that the guy in the honda was a friend of a friend, and hes on trial right now for murder. so even if you dont wreck, it can still ruin your life. the guy is about 19-20 and faces life in prison. sure, i dont agree with charging people with murder in a case like that, but what I believe isnt going to keep him out of prison if the judge convicts him. if hes found guilty, his life is pretty much over. screw that. Ill keep my racing at sanctioned events, with safety equipment and medical personnel on scene. Ive got too much life to live to cut it short for a 30 second adreneline rush. especially when I can get a 20 minute adreneline rush at Infineon, Laguna Seca, or Thunderhill.

 

I think they should show that in driver's ed classes.

This goes for anyone: if I catch ANYONE driving like a ****ing idiot and you hurt or kill someone in my family, you can be sure that you'll loose your life one way or another.

 

^^^+1 better believe that, i've learned alot at this forum about how bad of an idea it is to street race, i used to just push my car(s) to the max all the time and ever since this forum i dont do that anymore, cause ya'll showed me how stupid that $hit is, thanks ya'll
