AutoX pics...Civic and RSX-S
Sooo this is what I've been up to lately. Season started little over a month ago which is why I haven't been on here very much lately. I am now an instructor for this regions BMW AutoX club and I have events just about every weekend, some back to back. Also been tuning my car(alignment) and my co-drivers RSX-S(suspension & alignment).
Anyways, here some pics from this season so far.
^My RSX co-driver running my civic, and 3 wheeling it, since his car was out of commission(below)
^ after this event, my friend was driving his RSX back home and his driver side front wheel came off. Luckily he noticed it making a thumping noise and was going slow so damage was terrible, but still sucked. Somehow the lug nuts sheered off the threads on the studs and let loose...
For the fix, new/painted fender, he decided on a whole new set of wheels and tires, and new studs and lug nuts. 16" Sparco wheels, 225 Kumho XS tires, ARP wheel studs and Gorilla lug nuts.
With the new gear. A little tripod action
My co-driver
So far I'm leading points with all the clubs(4 clubs) I'm running with in both cars. This past weekend I took first in class and beat my co-driver(took second) by 2.6seconds.

Here's that video. The lot was freshly paved in spots which actually made it like driving on ice. Car's were spinning left and right, up to 4 times in a single run lol. That's why he got a little sideways so easily on this video.

ok that's enough, esp if anyone watches all those lol.
Please, if anyone here AutoX's even somewhat frequently, POST UP!!! I'm interested in pics/videos and can give you feed back if you're a noob to it. I would have posted this in the Autocross/Roadrace section but it's dead in there. I'd love to see people running their cars.

Yeah everyone walks the course before they start runs. it's hard, even for a very experienced person, to run a course without walking it first. There are also directional cones on the course to show which way to turn and go. They are the cones that are laying on their sides, you look at them as arrows.
