Anybody could re-make that car for under $15000.
6th gen bone stock($3500ish)
B18B swap($1500ish)
Engine build($2000ish)
Turbo setup($2000ish)
Grand total $9k plus you dont have a ricer hood to get rid of

If that thing is 100% real, it would soooo be worth the money.

Yea i am just against every buying a car somebody else has built. You never know he could say eagle rod but they may be stock. Little stuff like that that drives me away from buying built cars

Good friend of mine bought a 2004 c-5 vert in june of 2003 for 54k, spent 22k on appearnce mods, and won first place at the nations largest Corvette show.In the summer of 2004. In the winter of 04/05 he had ,24k put into the motor and suspension.
Got the dyno sheet, took it to the track, ran for a night.
Sold the car 2 weeks latter for $49,500.00
car had less then 11k miles.

^my thoughts exactly...
Let's see, how bout we pour $40k+ into a car, never drive it, then sell it for 15 grand [:@]

he didn't. He lost 50+K.
the point is that this car may very well be selling for 15k, and be 100% perfect.
If you want a fast tricked out car, buy someone elses. you can do that for 50% less then you can build your own. People don't build cars to sell them. They build them to enjoy the hobby, then they often just move on.

i don't think the guy would be lying about stock rods if his dyno sheet is showing over 600hp. the saddest part is, between theft and accident repair, i've spent as much on my civic as it would cost to buy his and i've got alot less to show for it

RE: Check out this beast
take this a step further.
My car in it's pure stock form would retail for around 38k.
It is a 2004.
I have spent, aprox. 30k in after mkt parts.
I would be lucky today to sell my car, for 35k. All the work done on mine is by shops like lpe, and dte, and the like. World class tuners, the shops you read about in magazines.
Modded cars are worth nothing.
