Default Crazy CRX Local (wish I had 8g)

I just thought I would share it with you guys its a local Calgary crx for sale, I believe Ive seen it on youtube and here atthe strip running insanely fast times. Check it out and things I really like about it are : H22a, H to B trans setup, s2000 gauge cluster. I believe this is one of the cars that a tech owns a speedtech where I had the turbo work done on my 180sx.

pshhhh... what a ricer.... look at the cut-out hood.

Looks pretty bada**. I wonder how the h22 does with the b16's short gears? I wonder how much work the s2k cluster was to put in... makes me want to try it when I eventually get another civic.

But the hood reminds me of what I plan on doing to the mustang eventually... but I'm going to cut mine to accommodate a blower (if my sig ever makes its way over to the right side lmao)

thats the cleanest CRX I've ever seen (except the hood and engine bay)

the cluster looks factory and so does the power window switch

I would never put a h22 in though if the hood has to be cut like that looks horrible and plus the radiator isnt even mounted properly

I don't know about the radiator I do know how ever the h to b swap goes like hell paired up with this motor I had it planned out for my eg with a mechanic friend that does honda/nissan swaps in his garage lol but he's really good at it, I talked to the guy about this briefly on email he is a professional builder/swapper of imports at that shop I mentioned. I gotta say though it is the cleanest crx in this part of the woods lol :P and I bet that little thing flies! I actually seen a crx on youtube with a swap like this but he used no hood at all, I think this is better then no hood I suppose you could use a raised hood or a cowl'd hood but I think that might look stupid too lol. Personally I thought it was neat but watch out for the damn thief's (Ive had my plain jane eg hatch stolen from my parking lot here, ive got it back now tho!)

here's a question, howwould that crx's motor be in the winter with it exposed slightly like that? It is obo so im seriously thinking of trying to get this possibly, I will have to sell my car (1994 civic eg in nice shape) and my quad (2001 yamaha warrior with endless performance work) lol to buy it. Im a little lower on $$ right now but could easily buy this and recooperate the cost after once I get another job.

I don't see why it would be a real problem. It's just the valve cover that's going to be exposed to the elements; valve covers get wet all the time. Also, by the time the engine reaches operating temperature, the snow will be gone anyway... then it's the water you'll have to worry about lol

So how cold's it get in Calgary, anyway? Does it get "sitting in your idling car watching the engine temp. guage go down" cold there? Because it's happened down here lol

The temp can range from on average from 41F to 13F (+5c to -25c) and occasionally you can get like a wicked -22F (about -35c) with wind chills obviously so it should be alright and yes its that weather where if you sit in your car idling you might not get enough heat from a 4cyl. lol Ill be up in Fort McMurray this winter anyways (about 800km north of Calgary, pop. Calgary about 1 100,000 Fort McMurray is about 82000 lol just thought Id add that in) anyways the Mac can get weather like last winter as cold as -43c with a wind chill this is where your tires turn to hard donuts and the car does all kinds of weird things Im also thinking of picking up an old crx for 700 bucks or a ef hatch for 450 and fixing it up as an old winter beater that I can drive the **** out of in the snow with some mean snow tires lol
