I mean C6, i dunno wat i was thinking. And Schamburg isn't too far from my house, it isn't close either. My friend lives around there, but he is 14.

 

haha, the evo would smoke a SCed C6 Z06 right now. they havent figured out how to tune it, so im doubting that they could get much of anythign out of an SC. it has a completely different system for measuring the airflow into the engine, and none of the Corvette tuners have cracked it yet. as of right now, C6 Z06s are strictly bolt on. but i guess thats not all bad, because it seems my bosses gained around 70 hp at the flywhel from a set of headers.[&:]

 

Large displacement v8s are so funny, you can look at them funny sometimes and you will get an extra 10 horsepower(j/k)

But the most part of v8s I'v encountered they are super sensitive to mods. Wish our I4s could get 100+hp from I/H/E

 

Yea V8's are great IMO. I am a fan of all cars really so dont take this as me saying anything against imports but if you want to make real power a V8 is where you wanna start. My LT1 is rated at like 275hp and 310tq or something like that. It has nothing but a K&N FIPK(cold air intake) and a borla cat back and has made 3 passes on a dyno in the past year. It lays down 310whp and 330wtq constantly. This is a 11 year old engine with 105,000 miles on it.
