in the UK we pay the equivalent of $2 a litre, that works out at $10 a gallon. This has been the case for years, so i dont know why you are all bitching

those hybrids are going to be worse for the enviroment because of their batteries...what happens in five years when they start to die and not hold a charge? people will throw them away and buy new ones, the toxic chemicals of these batteries will then leak into the ground... i think the future is hydrogen, they just need a way to control its conbustine(sp) once that is achieved we can look a cheap *** hell gas prices. And if someone wants to be a real genius they will figure out a mod so that we can convert our cars to accept it.
