I love the quarter/spacer!!

Any of you guys looking to make a cheap mount should check this link out. Only costs a few bucks, and works with any camera that has the hole in the bottom for mounting to a tripod.

yeah. they put redline at 7k because they figured people would think theyre lying if they posted any higher...especially in the mid 80s. they probably make power up to 8k or so. thats how high the tach goes (8.5k)

I noticed that the sound and the video dont match up too well either (like a half a second off) that might be another reason why they dont notice it.

AMEN! I took the Si up to eight quite a few times. Daily driving i wouldnt shift under 5. I didnt buy a high revving car to shift at 3 I hit the limiter a couple times on accident merging in third gear and stuff. Im pretty sure i heard somewhere that cars can run a couple of hours at redline before anything happens.

But the subie red lines at 6200 and I run it up to 6 every so often. Its got way more torque than the honda did so you can be just as fast shifting at 4500 than a honda at 6200. (which i believe is redline on most civics?)

When i learned to drive a stick with my dad he told me I was shifting too low. I guess I was a little nervous. I was hardly accelerating.

And Forty. That quarter spacer makes the wole project come together. It wouldnt be possible without it.

Peg dont worry about it. As I read that post i was about to post that picture up but you already beat me too it.
