I ****ing hate snow and ice...
Sorry but it's been a really long night, and I almost lost my car today. I really need to vent my fustration out right now, so here's my story:
I was driving with my friend from the Giant Center in Hershey, and their exits are 3 lane roads. I get in the middle lane, and was following some other friends, when I come up to a part of the road that looked pretty bad. The temperature around here has been wierd, and whatever snow thats on the ground melts and goes into the roads. However, at nights like this where its very below freezing, the water thats on the road freezes, and there's usually a layer of ice on the ground.
To get back to the story, I see that the road is getting pretty bad, and I actually told my friend that I'm slowing down because this looked dangerous. I slow down to under 20 MPH, and I get to a curve, thought I took it slow enough, but ended up starting to skid to the right, Unfortunetly for me, a car had merged into the right lane, so I ended up skidding towards it and hitting the car's driver sidedoor. What made me upset about this is that I wasn't going fast around the curve, and if I would have just waited like 30 seconds later to leave the arena, I would had just slid to the other lane and wouldn't have hit anything.
Here's the pictures of my car when I got home (the quality isn't the best because the camera I had was terrible, and it's pretty dark out here)

I'll look at the positives however...no one was hurt, and it was only the bumper that was damaged...

I bet insurance companies hate the north where it snows. I bet they spend billions a year fixing crap like that.
This is where it pisses me off, my state ( S.C.) has the highest rates in the nation.... I phucking HATE my insurance policies.... some of the older memebers might remember my passionant hatred for insurance but ill save the rant.
But I hate it for you MTK, I for one can vouch that I have been in more than my fair share of car accidents.
