Well, here is the thing:

1. My grandfather (rest in peace) sold nothing but GM vehicles his whole life, became a millionaire and sent 7 kids through college. He loved those cars to death and always was glad to talk about them and how great they are. But until the day he died he always said Ford made a better truck.

2. My other grandfather is BFF's with the owner of a very large Ford dealership down here.

3. I couldnt argue $14k for a brand spankin new full sized truck with tax included even if Chevy is better and I doubt it is these days. The jap trap truck market has caused the big three to put serious R&D into their new trucks and frankly, Ford finally stepped up and out did themselves with this new line of F-150's. I must say im very impressed with this truck so far and can clealry see somebody in R&D at Ford spent a long time with this truck.

4. Im tired of cars, my city wont fix the streets and I have a family plantation to drive to often and the car is no longer cutting it. Ive been in need of a decent truck for a long time. I could almost care less if it was something different but the fact is it sbrand new with no more than 400 miles on it (I put a 100 on it in the past two days) with peace of mind knowing that I am the FIRST owner and am not buying someone elses problems.

That was the whole idea of it. I wanted no frills. The only frills going into that truck is an awesome sound system... you know ole remmy lol.

okay I have to know why get a v6 in a full size truck? I mean if you get a full size truck why not get the full size motor to? I dont know but then again whenever I drive a truck it has a trailer and I just do not think a v-6 full size truck cuts it when towing.
