That makes 2 democrats on this forum. That was pretty bad timing though, and you could tell Mike Myers felt reaaaaaaly awkward standing next to him. On that fundraising thing on Vh1 on saturday i think it was, I swear I heard Chris Rock say "Bush hates midgets" under his breath right before he started one of his little speech things.

 

bad thing is that his dad was/is a lawyer and his mother was/is a professor. He is fairly eduacted. but yet he is still a dumbass.

whether you love bush or hate him. what Kanye said was just plain idiotic.

 

yeah from what i can tell on the news the whole thing was a gong show but it would have been alot smoother if the poeple they where trying to save where not shooting them. also yeah what a frecken moron... yeah the news only shows black people shooting and looting... freaken moron maybe thats because it was mostly the black people. i mean i am no rasist... but if black people are the people that happpen to be doing most of the looting and shooting they will proably show black people mostly doing though things....

Theve been pretty lenient on the REAL looters in nawlans. When hugo came to my town, you were shot if you looted a stero or somethin like that. And no, it took 3 days for every body to show up, I can understand why it was difficult for ALL rescuers and volunteers had trouble he;ping... BECAUSE MOST OF THE PLACE WAS FLOODED. And of course there are plenty of sad stories coming out the wazoo from that hurricane. You wanna hear from Hugo? This one didnt happen to a victim... it happened to a guy who had a chainsaw and was helping clear the road on his own time.


This is a true story:

Two buddies in Charleston were cutting up fallen trees clearing up the roads for the city without consent. As they were both hacking away at 100 year old assorted trees (big, thats why I said the age of the trees) when one of the guys hits a knot in a tree and the chainsaw bounces (or bucks as we say here) up and takes a nice chunk out of the side of the guys neck. He turns to his best friend, drops his chainsaw, and looks calmly at his good friend " I think I just killed myself ". The man drops dead right there. These two guys didnt blame anydbody. They were minding their own business helping others to get around which they didnt have to do. And one of them died so others can tote around in thier cars during that time. There was no media to expand it, no blaming, no "Damnit we couldnt help in time" b.s. just two guys.
